Esame KET: Niente Panico! Guida alla Part 1 dello Speaking 🚀

Sei nella scuola media e l’esame Cambridge A2 Key (KET) si avvicina? La parte che fa più paura è spesso lo Speaking, cioè il colloquio orale. Ma abbiamo una buona notizia: la Part 1 è una passeggiata se sai come affrontarla!

Ecco tutto quello che devi sapere per fare un figurone davanti all’esaminatore.

Cos’è la Part 1? 🤔

È la fase di “riscaldamento”. L’esaminatore ti farà domande semplici sulla tua vita: chi sei, cosa studi, cosa fai nel tempo libero. Dura circa 3-4 minuti ed è un dialogo diretto tra te e lui (mentre il tuo compagno di esame aspetta il suo turno).

Le tre “sfide” della Part 1

1. Il momento dell’identità 🆔

Appena entri, l’esaminatore ti chiederà come ti chiami e come si scrive il tuo cognome.

• La trappola: Lo spelling! Ripassa bene le lettere “pericolose” come la J (jei), la G (gi), la E (i) e la I (ai). Se sbagli lo spelling del tuo cognome, inizi col piede sbagliato. Allenati a dirlo velocemente!

2. Domande sulla tua routine ⏰

Ti chiederanno della tua scuola, dei tuoi hobby o della tua famiglia.

• Esempio: “What’s your favourite subject?”
• Errore da evitare: Rispondere con una sola parola (es: “Maths”).
• Il trucco del campione: Aggiungi sempre un “because”. Di’: “My favourite subject is Maths because I like logic and numbers”. Molto meglio, vero?

3. La domanda “Tell me something about…” 🗣️

È la parte finale della Part 1. L’esaminatore ti darà un tema (es: il tuo migliore amico, la tua casa, cosa hai fatto ieri) e tu dovrai parlare un po’ più a lungo.

• Consiglio: Prepara 3 frasi pronte per ogni argomento classico (hobby, famiglia, scuola, cibo). Se sei preparato, non rimarrai in silenzio a fissare il soffitto!

I 3 Comandamenti per il successo ✨

1. Guarda negli occhi: Non fissare il tavolo! Sorridi e guarda l’esaminatore negli occhi. La comunicazione è fatta anche di gesti.
2. Se non capisci, chiedi! Non rispondere a caso. Di’ gentilmente: “Can you repeat that, please?”. Non ti toglieranno punti per questo.
3. Usa i verbi giusti: Se ti chiedono cosa hai fatto ieri (“What DID you do…”), rispondi al passato (“I WENT to the park”).

In conclusione…

Il KET non è un mostro, è solo un modo per dimostrare che sai cavartela in inglese. Sii te stesso, parla con calma e ricorda: l’esaminatore è lì per aiutarti a dare il meglio, non per darti voti bassi!
